I love trying new things! I love the outdoors and being on the water! Summer time is the best time for that. This month I am going to take a diving course to get certified to dive. It’s a very expensive pastime, but if you look on eBay you can find anything. You just have to be cautious that the products you are buying are legitimate. I am doing research so I know how to find the scuba gear that will be best for me. I will need a dive mask and snorkel. This allows you to see clearly underwater and equalize pressure as you go deeper. The snorkel allows you to breathe underwater when you are swimming facedown close to the surface. I also need a regulator/octopus. Regulator allows you to breathe underwater, deeper than the snorkel. All you have to do is inhale. The regulator is hooked to your air tank via tube. This should be routed to my right side. Next on the list of things is my BC/Power Inflator. This is my buoyancy compensator. It fits like a backpack and supports the weight of your tank out of the water and helps control your position in the water by adding or releasing air. These controls will be found on the left side. The next thing is scuba fins. These help you glide smoothly through the water. Just on tiny flick of the feet can send you soaring. There are a few different kinds of fins to get. Try them on before purchasing if you do not know what you like. The last main thing I will need before diving is my wetsuit. It keeps my body at a regulated temperature. The deeper the water, the colder it gets. I definitely need to try this on before purchase. It needs to fit snug all over. There are many accessories to purchase to make the dive entertaining, but I am just excited to get in and view underwater life.
